ETUDE HOUSE: Golden Ratio Face Glam #1 Gold Review

Here's my second time doing a review of this liquid highlighter. Why? I'm not really sure but I just thought that the pics there are so crappy, well, the new pics are still crappy, but... they're less crappy at least and I gave some wrong infos about the product, sorry. So yeah, keep reading.

Etude House's Golden Ratio aesthetic makeup line. This 2 in 1 highlighting base and brightening eye makeup accentuates facial features to beautify according to ideal proportions.


[Tips] 1. Apply to T & C Zones and along cheekbones and spread across facial surface. 2. Apply to upper and lower eyelids and spread along eye region.


[Directions] Base: Use tip to gather and dispense onto palette surface. Use fingers to gather base makeup from palette surface and apply to face. Eye Brightener: Use fingers to gather and apply brightener to eye region.


[Volume] 40 ml (Base) + 4g (Base)

I got this earlier the pink one because I thought that the shimmers on this is a lot warmer and nicer. I was really happy that it's a 2-in-1 product and that it's 40 ml and then 4g for the eye brightener, wow that's a lot, right?. I think the price is really reasonable for this nice product.


The packaging is really cute and adorable. It's a short and fat bottle and it looks like a toy. The cap is brown and it has the eye brightener and a small mirror on the upper part and the spatula is on the bottom part. The container of the base is a transparent plastic. The parts used for this product are high quality, you can say that they will not be easily broken even if you accidentally drop the product.


The color of the Eye Brightener is different than the base because the shimmers there are white. It's in cream form so it's very concentrated with the shimmers so you'll only need a few dabs in applying it in the eye area.


The formula for the Base is really watery, it's runny so be careful with the amount you apply. It's not very much concentrated with the shimmers like in Tony Moly but it's enough to give you the right amount glow that your face will need. The color is a light peachy-pink, it's very pretty, it's not too pink like the TM too.

The yellow/gold color of the base will disappear after blending it and the peachy shimmers will be more pronounced.


Dab this with a brush or your fingers, don't sweep it right away. This way, the when the product dries, there will be more concentration of the shimmers. (not sure if you get what I mean, i'm not good in explaining)

This one fits medium to dark skinned people more because the shimmers might not look good in people with light skin tone, it contrasts the whiteness of the skin because the shimmers look warm.


So yeah, in using this, always take note how watery it is. Some may not like it for being runny so I recommend that you dab it instead of spreading it.
