☀SUMMER 2012 FAVES!

Hello! So, I just want to show you guys the makeup products that I've been using regularly this summer time. Some of them are new and some are just the things that have been with me for a long time and I just thought of trying them out. I'll state the reasons why I like them. Enjoy! Haha.

 

THE FACE SHOP QUICK & CLEAN OIL FREE BLEMISH BALM

Why I like it:

I know I said that this one doesn't have a good oil control but I found a new way to use it, I use it as a base. I use it alone or sometimes I apply a thin layer of this before applying another layer of BB Cream/foundation. I just can't apply any other makeup on without this anymore! I just feel great when I put this on first lol I don't even know why.

Why I like it:

I love this one because it just makes my face bright and clear for the whole day! I blot 1-2 times for the whole day but after each blotting, it's perfectly matte again! There's really nothing about this that I don't like!

MISSHA THE STYLE UNDER EYE BRIGHTENER

Why I like it:

This one doesn't just work for brightening the under eye area, I also use this for the sides of my nose or any reddened areas. It can also work as a highlighter, it makes the bridge of the nose, cheekbones and forehead appear more pronounced! It has good coverage for blemishes too! Oh, and it's also very affordable!

 

ETUDE HOUSE PEACH SKIN PACT

Why I like it:

I have this with me all the time because the packaging is pretty and the mirror is big. I don't really use this pact for my whole face because I fond it too white and shimmery for that. I use this as kind of a highlighter or brightener under the eyes, on the C-zone and T-zone and it works perfectly!

TONY MOLY CRYSTAL BLUSHER IN #5 SUGAR BROWN

Why I like it:

This product is quite new to me but I have been using it a lot already. It's summer time and I don't really want to use a shading powder that will be too dark and obvious. This one gives me just enough color to give my face some dimension.

 

THE FACE SHOP ILLUMINATING CUSHION BLUSHER IN #01 PINK

Why I like it:

I don't really use pinks because I think that they just don't look good on me. But for a change, I started using this when summer classes started and I thought that it wasn't really that bad. I like this one because even if the color looks too bright on the pan, it looks really great when applied, the shimmers reflect light and it gives me an instant highlight!

 

 ETUDE HOUSE EYE BROW KIT IN #2 GRAY

Why I like it:

First of all, I don't see why it's grey because as you can see it's obviously brown, idk, maybe there's just some mistake... So I like this because it doesn't look cake-y or too dark for my brows compared to those pencil ones that I still need a brush to stroke and stroke (which makes my eyebrows a whole lot darker that I sometimes look a gorilla already). My eyebrows are already thick so I just need something to fill in those small gaps. I use the gel part rarely, the powder side is what I always use and I love it.

TONY MOLY CRYSTAL MONO EYESHADOW IN #8 LOVELY PEACH

IANTI LUXE JEWELRY EYESHADOW IN #22 STAGE BROWN

Why I like them:

I use the TONY MOLY one for the inner corners of my eyes, it makes them shimmer in a more subtle way than a white eyeshadow does. I use the ETUDE HOUSE eyeshadow on top of my eyeliner to create gradiation and I also use it as an eyeliner itself, works great for both ways. I use the IANTI one in lining my lower lashline, it gives me a more natural look than using dark brown or black.

HOLIKA HOLIKA JEWEL-LIGHT WATERPROOF EYELINER

Why I like it:

I fell in love with this eyeliner as soon as I tried it. I love the color and it's absolutely waterproof! It's summer but this one never gave me panda eyes. I have tried the Etude House Proof10 pencil eyeliner and it failed on me.

ETUDE HOUSE LOOK AT MY LIPS IN #6 I'VE GOT RED

Why I like them:

I have summer classes so I don't really like wearing bright things all the time. The tint is perfect for everyday use. I've been trying the lipstick for a while now and I've come to like it! I use it when I feel like I need more color because I look a corpse or simply when I just want to achieve a bolder look.
